Laying in the grass soaking up the sun
Watching the clouds go by, she is happy
Carefree and bright
Her tough exterior hides so much
Pain, loss, tears, and lies
The late night fights she tried to ignore
Yelling a pillow could not muffle or hide
She acts unbreakable
She really is a fragile doll with a permanent smile painted on
Be careful with her, she can easily break
She put herself back together after she broke
Please don’t break her, be careful with the fragile doll
From afar her smile conceals so many dark secrets
Like her trust that seems to be so easy to gain
It’s hard to gain an ounce
So many promises broken, making her trust fade
Her bottled up secrets tightly secured
Like the Jack Daniel’s in the garage causing rage
Her heart covered in patches and tape
Big pieces missing, where did they go?
Leaving for weeks at a time
Weeks turning into months
They see what she wants, being unbreakable
She really is a fragile doll with a permanent smile painted on
Be careful with her, she can easily break
She put herself back together after she broke
Please don’t break her, be careful with the fragile doll
She isn’t unbreakable that porcelain doll
